IN THE LAP OF NATURE

Swaggering along a row in a garden

When the rustling of leaves could be heard

Its evening time when even nature

Has a soothe in the chirping of a bird.

The gentle touch and mesmerising sensation

Of the soft breeze that just took away my scarf

Brought a smile to my gloomy face

And lo! It could be seen in the vast sky-a dwarf!

As night began to rule the earth

And I felt a bit lonely but unperturbed

When the warmth of a hand could be felt

And there lay every creature silent and undisturbed.

I love the leaves being green

I adore the wilderness of deserted lands

Ever since I was born on this earth

For earth itself is like nature's hands.

As the light of the dawn enters my eyes

I feel rejuvenated as I know

A new day has taken birth again

My inquisitiveness searches what new nature has to show.

Be it the opening of a lily

Or the new life of a cub

I feel so gracious that these natural elements

Are angels sent from the heaven above!
