THE MYTH OF CRIMINAL INSIDE

Concrete walls they stood

Firm and calm around me

I felt like a captive.

That was my worth,so small.

A Prisoner's life is restricted

Behind,forever, the bars,

No mercy no love,I deserved it,thats all!

"It was a crime you did",they exclaimed,

I stayed quiet in a placid mood,

Yet alert enough to hear them say,

"I wasn't guilty,please! let go of me..!"

It isn't the fate of every soul

To live a life akin to a king,

But it isn't justice too,

That a meek soul's nature be questioned.

"You were there at that time ,weren't you?

When the light was dim,

And thrice the man was stabbed,

With blood spouting out from all sides."

Of all the beatings I received,

The one most deadliest

Was delivered by my own so-called friend,

Betrayals,accusations,sufferings,trauma and all I faced.

I was ne'er a psycho or a schizo,

A moron or hooligan or even a weirdo!

But,yes,I am entitled by these now,

I'm the most honourable it seems!

Life's worst situations have

Been known and faced by me,

"Killer life,you sucked big time!

But I'm glad that YOU TRIED ME!"
